My goal in starting this blog is to help all of those who:
- buy way too many color samples in order to figure out the best color for their space
- invest in gallons of paint only to be completely surprised that the color did not end up looking anywhere close to the way they thought it was ‘supposed’ to
- cannot find the best color combination for their spaces
- are interested in faux finishing, and anything else related to color or paint,
hopefully saving you months and months of frustration and worry.
How do I know about all this stuff?
Well, I am an artist who has worked in a couple house paint stores in her lifetime.
I currently work weekends at Thybony Paint in Chicago, and I am the only girl working amongst a hilarious but awesome crew of guys. On the weekdays I am in my studio painting and working with my clients to give new life to their walls. I personally give color consultations, faux finish, and paint any kind of murals you can think of, so I spend a ton of time analyzing color and the relationships and changes they appear to go through.
I look forward to helping you!
